As Memorial Day approaches, the Pacific Islands Small Business Development Center Network would like to take a moment to honor and remember our heroes - loved ones, family members, friends, and service members - who hold a special place in our hearts and memories.
Memorial Day is a time of remembrance and gratitude — a day to recognize the sacrifices of those who gave their lives in service to their country, while also reflecting on the individuals whose lives, guidance, and love continue to shape our communities and families.
Across Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands, we are connected by shared values of family, respect, community, and remembrance. Many of us carry with us the memories of parents, grandparents, relatives, mentors, and friends whose impact continues to inspire us every day.
While this holiday weekend may be a time of gathering and celebration for some, it may also be a time of reflection and remembrance for others. During this Memorial Day, we extend our thoughts and gratitude to all those remembering loved ones and honoring their legacy.
May this occasion bring peace, comfort, gratitude, and meaningful time with family and loved ones.
